CossBan's Computer Monitor is a software package that allows you to monitor computers and/or servers on your network. The software needs only be installed on one computer to monitor your entire computer network. The "Monitor engine," which is the program that conducts the monitoring, can be installed as a service so you don't even need to be logged into your computer for monitoring to take place.

The software will conduct the following tasks...

1. Ping monitored computer, testing TCP connection.
2. Test hard drive access, up to 5 hard drives.
3. Check disk space usage and precent free.
4. Check CPU in use percentage.
5. Check Memory usage and precent free
6. Report on services that are set to automatically start but have failed to start or are not running.
7. Show system (event viewer) errors that were generated within the last 23 hours.
8. The software supports SMTP email so you can receive the monitored reports in your inbox.

This package is freeware and has limited help and support.

• 25MB's hard drive free space.
• 256 MB's RAM, recommended.
• Microsoft's WMI (Windows Management Instrumentation) install. (Already installed on W2K and up.)
• Default UNC hard drive share (\\servername\C$, \\servername\D$, etc.) on monitored computers (Already configured by default on W2k and up.)
• TCP/IP network or workgroup that recognizes NetBIOS computer names.
